After I finished my Annie’s Crochet Afghan, I decided to brush up on my knitting skills by joining the Annie’s Knit Afghan Block-of-the-Month club. I’ve been knitting for a couple years now and have gotten pretty decent at it, if I do say so myself. But I had so much fun with the crochet afghan and it came out so well that I thought, what the heck!
So, similar to my Annie’s Crochet Afghan page, here’s my timeline. I hope to actually review each kit as I knit each one. But don’t hold me to that.
9/6/2019 – Joined the Annie’s Knit Afghan Block-of-the-Month Club using the code 50KNIT to get 50% on my first order (or something like that)
9/7/2019 – Credit card charged $17.36 for Kit 1 (they wasted no time)
9/19/2019 – Kit 1 shipped
9/20/2019 – Kit 1 received. In looking at the USPS tracking history, it appears that the shipment originated in my hometown. That isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility, but it also doesn’t seem to be totally accurate. Still, it arrived a lot early than I expected!
